This film by Debadityo is a tribute to the team of SEBS which he made during his association with this unique science exhibition as a science communicator for the entire phase. ScienceExpress Biodiversity Special is a unique science exhibition running on Indian railway tracks and India’s longest and world’s most visited mobile exhibition. It was the fifth phase of this train and the first phase of the theme of biodiversity. During its 201 days of exhibition from 5th June to 21st December 2012, it covered more than 18,000 km and 51 stations from different corners of the country which led to more than 24 lakh people visiting this train in the current phase which led to breaking all previous records of Science Express also making it the most successful phase. This film is a result of Debadityo’s 3 months efforts during which he shot more than 10,000 pieces of original footage of different aspects of this train. The idea of the film was to bring out those vital aspects which are overlooked by a normal visitor. It was officially released by Mr. Chander Mohan, Adviser & Scientist G, Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India who is also the Chief Executing Officer of this train on 22nd December valediction program of SEBS at Ahmedabad in the presence of Mr. B.M.S. Rathore (Jt. Secretary, Ministry of Environment and Forests, GoI), Mr. Dilip Surkar (Executive Director, Vikram A. Sarabhai Community Science Centre), and Mr. Kartikey V. Sarabhai (Director, Centre for Environment Education) at Vikram A. Sarabhai Community Science Centre. The film gained much acclaim for the unique way of presentation along with some of the exceptional footage from the SEBS.
